KSEVT

Cultural Centre of European Space Technologies (KSEVT) dwells on the location of the former local house of culture. Consequently, it takes over its strategic place and role in Vitanje. KSEVT is located on a transversal spatial axis of the settlement, thus spatially balancing and enhancing the programmes of a public and social character. It is placed between the diocesan mansion – residence of the Vitanje Commune and Herman Potočnik Noordung Memorial Room; the neoclassical Mother of God Church and the Gothic Church of st. Peter and Paul.

The building is a monolith structure, set between the main road on one side and the stream with green hinterland on the other side. The outer area is, as a continuation of green environment, largely covered in grass. Only around the building, in the frontal area and in connection to the sports ground on the east side, the grass is replaced by pebble-stones.
